Hey howdy hey!

My name is Kenneth Lane (Simmons) and I am a non-equity actor, singer, and performer from Dallas Tx. My whole life I have always wanted to be an entertainer. My love for theatre first came from endless rewatches of The Wizard of Oz on a warn out VHS tape. By the time I was 4 my mom thought it was time to take me to see a real stage musical and took me to see my first show at Casa Mañana in Fort Worth, Tx. I instantly knew being an actor was what I was born to do and working at Casa Mañana and/or any professional theatre has been a dream of mine ever since. Since then I have been in over 30 musicals and plays in my lifetime. I am currently a college senior finishing up my BFA in Musical Theatre at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Tx. While in school I have been given the incredible opportunity to make my professional stage debut at Stages Repertory Theatre in Houston, Tx. I have also participated in two summers of Raven Repertory our summer rep at school in addition to acting numerous times on the SHSU stage during the school year. While not performing or living in a global pandemic I enjoy dancing my heart out at Paramore concerts, rollerskating with friends, listening to every music style from jazz music to The Cure to  to Solange, and finding time to do any kind of camping.
